First coffee of the day, while Asus Eee PC 901 reboots. Who has one and what do you think of it?

I've got the 701 but when I decided to upgrade I wen't for the Acer AspireOne instead of the 901. A coffee while it reboots? how long does that thing take?
I love it, it's become my main laptop for doing anything other than video editing or things that take hours to do (ie downloading loads of films and tv). I don't have a large music collection, about 35gig so it all fits on the Acer nicely with plenty room left over. Netbooks are one of the best things to happen to computers in recent years.
For that price I'm guessing its the SSD linux version. If she just wants to use it out of the box it should be fine for her......... but, if she decided that she didnt like linix and wanted windows going on it I've heard it runs dog slow, the speed of the SSD is slower to read/write than the Acer ones, it handles linux fine but crawls with XP.
If it is actually an XP version with a proper hard drive then thats a bargain price so snap one up now before they all go. I got the 120gig XP version and its sweet, nice screen, better quality keyboard than the Asus 901 but battery life isn't as good (nothings ever perfect is it) at around 2/2.5 hours.
@gerrymoth she should be fine with that one and with it being the HDD version, installing XP on it if she doesn't like Linux wont be a problem even though its only got 512 ram, the XP version of the AAO has 1gig ram but I ran XP on my Asus 701 with only 512 ram and it was fine. Come to think of it my very first XP laptop only had 512 ram too.
I haven't tried Windows 7 yet, I may install it on my 701 as it doing nothing but collecting dust at the moment. From what I've read Windows 7 and XP are very similar in there spec needs, unlike the resource hungry beast that is Vista.

@Steves71 I missed your reply yesterday. It is a pretty fast boot but I've been known to guzzle coffee. How do you like the Acer?

@steves71 Thanks Mate, I'm sure it was the Linux version with 60 or 120GB HD.
